The new Skimz Monzter D-Series 3rd Generation Protein Skimmer has been redesigned to include with a gear system drain plate for water outlet adjustment. This unique gear system uses 70 gear teeth provides a smooth and easy tuning of water level in the skimmer.

Skimz Monzter skimmer does not utilize bulky outlet pipes which reduces the needed footprint inside a sump. Paired with the new high-performance QuietPro QPS DC skimmer pump, that produces an incredible amount of air and water to create ultra-fine foam for optimal waste removal.

The new QuietPro QPS DC skimmer pump is a variable speed controllable pump with a high flow rate that uses brushless DC (BLDC) 6-pole synchronous motors for a nearly noise-free operation. This allows for torque at a more constant thrust per revolution of the rotor. The QuietPro QPS DC pump allows you to adjust the speed to fit your needs. It also has a slow start-up mode and automatic power-off protection mode. As a safety check, if the pump detects no water or if the inlet gets blocked with debris, the pump automatically enables is power-off protection mode.

Skimz has developed the new air silencer for easy cleaning and maintenance. The new air silencer is easy to dismantle by removing the screw at base plate and take the chamber apart for cleaning.
